Cuttings from laurel

I have some Laurel growing in my garden.
Can i take cuttings off them and make more?
As i need a lot more to make a hedge.
How do i do this?

you can take cuttings in April/May from the young fresh tip growth and root them but bare in mind they will take a few years to establish. A plant you buy in the shops in a 3ltr pot will be about 3 years old. It will take you a while to get a good size hedge from cuttings.
