Robinia Frisia
A few people on here were reporting problems with their robinia frisias earlier this year & I wondered how you went on, did they recover? Is it now happening to others too?
I'm absolutely gutted to see my tree has developed some brown spots & curling mainly on it's lower branches & more on the side that gets the east wind. Seems that, according to
this information I've found (in particular see 11th post) it's a problem made caused/worse by this awful weather we've had last yr & this (up to now).

Our one is now a little park and the one in Yarmouth a monstrosity called the Marina Centre which is a filthy hole .
I spent my childhood at the pool in the summer. My Mum used to buy me a season ticket as soon as she got her first deposits in for B&B .Happy days.
I have a Q in beauty ..if it's old enough .
Back later ..I've got a Pecan Maple Plait winking at me .

Evening all. What a day. Tai Chi ok, Scampi Chips and salad at pub ok. Then all hell broke loose. My friend started on politics.I've known her for hearly 20 years and I never knew how animated, I think is the term, she can become when she is discussing them. Just because this man (a quite unassuming man) didn't agree with her she was most rude and shouted at him and said what she thought so angrily. I was so embarrassed I came out with our other friend. We waited outside for her. I'm not a shy retiring type and can stand my own ground but not in that fashion so I was pleased to be away from it.
When she came out I just said why didn't you just say quietly that you didn't agree with him and you thought whatever without shouting in his face so to speak. So she said she wasn't shouting in his face so I said were and you're doing it to me now. We weren't having a real row just a difference of opinion on how to behave, There yer go got it off me chest now. Sorry to bore yer. We've been friends for a long time so I don't think this will effect us too much.
Hope you've all had a good day. When I came home I got the mower out and did me grass and put some weed and feed on to see if I can make it any greener.
When I walked to the paper shop this morning I was way down the road and who should I see on the grass looking for worms but my blackie with the white tail. It was a good job there was nobody around because I said hello what you doing down here.
Cuppa tea time bye for now.....

Haha Jude I think this election business is getting to people :))
My MP lost his seat and I'm slightly annoyed that we now have an ex Brentwood councillor as our MP now who lives in Basildon !
A man who left the good people of Brentwood in a right pickle when he resigned from their council and then looked round round for somewhere to throw his hat and picked us .
Our former MP is a local man born and bred who was the MP for 17 years and has done lots for the place but this guy seems like one of those feather my own nest types from what I can see of him .
Of course I've done my research :))
Just because he's bunged a couple of pot plants outside our railway station everyone seems to think he's wonderful .I think he's a shifty booger with a dodgy haircut :)

Evening possums, we've had a beautiful day here, chilly but soo sunny all the live-long day. I took a constitutional walk *cough cough to a shop* and almost bought a nightgown called Eco-Fanny, ha ha ha, I thought that was funny. Don't know if ladies' garments have names in the UK...? ...but over here they often do, same as IKEA furniture. (Of course, in Swedish 'Fanny' is just a name.) Bought some Balkan food and had it outdoors on a bench in the sun with St Pellegrino mineral water, yummy.
That "butter wouldn't melt" piccy is so sweet Shaney, you do look angelic:)
Woofy we're not introducing Biddy Baths are we...? ...cos that would mean Vinny gets to bath first as he goes to work early, and then all of yous and then me LAST as I'm the youngest ha ha ha ha ha *screeeam*
Vinny looks like you were trying to hotlink to your puta...? I have no idea how you even did that but is it wise I wonder...? TinyPic.com works well for uploading and getting a direct link to paste onto here. /Yogurt? Have some filmjölk instead http://en.wikipedia.o...lmj.C3.B6lk_in_Sweden
Jude I don't suffer fools gladly nor do I think that I should BUT I fear sometimes I make my friends suffer instead when I raise the occasional hell in their presence... ha ha... not a nice thought... I think you did the right thing telling her about your reaction.
So is a thread still needed or are we home yet? (PS Neti is your email working, you said the other day you had emailed all of us and nobody had replied, but I did and Woofy did too, I know that for a fact as she used "reply to all", didn't you Woofster.)

How lovely to see shaneydog again...not that you weren't lovely shaney...you still are!...oh heck, haha
Oh crikey Jude there's nowt like politics or religion to get people hot under the collar but personally I don't think either subjects are worth raising your voice about. In fact I can't remember ever having a loud disagreement in public about anything, a few calm choice words & they usually back away, haha. I did once (many, many years ago) tear a strip off my friend for pinching my boyfriend (but I didn't shout). She just stood there & visibly shrank/shrunk/shrinked. It didn't last long & she crawled back later on in the year.
Oh for heaven's sake Kit...eco-fanny? that's just asking for trouble. I tentatively google imaged & this was the firt pic

Anything like that? ;o) If I had a nightie like that I'd sit up all night in it...probably in the front window...
New home's all in hand thanks (lol at neti's comment 'Robi's approval')
....and don't worry about Vin's computer...I'm looking into it, haha

Not been around much still battling demons and constant pain from torn tendons (both of us ) . Having trouble breathing ,have to use the Nebuliser every day now also Seretide or Serevent (can't remember the name ) and of course old faithful Ventolin.I'm finding old age not much to my liking but then again I could be worse off so my little (!) moan over .Not received your email yet neti except for the Mr.V. one thank you for the explanation ,wondered what it was all about .He took me in completely but then I don't expect other people to not be who they are ,if you know what I mean . Off to the shops ,new mower needed -garden looking like a jungle - Tarzan would be at homein our back yard !! see you all later ,all be well hope you are all still breathing at least !!!
