Still not too late for a good crop of carrots. Always time for a fresh batch of redtop lettuce or even spinach, and of course the old standby radishes...
weed.....good money for that? I can put in in my hooker
has everyone lost the plot?

lmao
Think this was meant to be a serious question you dopes!
Alright then, seriously, brussel sprouts. Dont pick them till they've frosted.

Have you grown runner beans? I like them about 6in long and young......they're always too long and stringy in the shops.

My grapes are flourishing and lots of apples but the plums are sparse. Have lots of strange fruit, green speckled oval things growing on contoniasta-early red flower (can't spell it but sounds right). What happens with them, they're hard as rock?

ROFL!!! I've just said to ziggy that I could've suggested a few cabbages - but I think nk's gnomes is the winner!!!

Ok then - just for puzzled - seriously.

You can grow leeks and carrots next, puzzled, because these grow better as the weather gets cooler.

I know what you mean kn. Guess people DO want proper answers sometimes though, but I have to say that some posts just beg hilarious replies., and to puzzled - sorry, but "gnomes" was a beaut!
