eggs in compost????
Hi x I have been out to start some early planting, and when i opened my bag of compost there were little eggs in it, i was wondering if anyone knows what they are? The bag has been open since last summer, but folded the top over. Also can i still use the compost? Many thanks xx

They look like this
Or they could be slow release fertiliser pellets that they sometimes put into it....? They'll be odd ones throughout the compost. The pic makes them look much bigger than they are but this will give you an idea
If they are slug eggs carefully remove & squash them, you don't want them hatching out in your plants when the weather warms up!
