I have just cut down the above and it has a trunk left 18"X15", and would like to know how would be the best way to rot it down, other than a `grinder`. I could drill holes in it and pour SBK into it but is there any other product that would do it faster?

you could try using a chainsaw and cutting groves into the stump use the very tip of the saw and it will put a narrow dish in the stump that will fill with water and aid decomposition
