think i have spelt it wrong but anyway....dont know about anyone else but i planted the bulbs and they have started to grow lovely but now they are flowering they have gone quite leggy with hardly and flowers coming off them at all they look really rubbish....why is this ...they look nothing like how they should do as in a nice tight cone with loads of tiny floer heads

It would seem that hyacinths tend to deteriorate after the first season just as yours have. Apparently as the flower finishes you should cut down the flower spike but keep feeding the foliage. the following season the show should be better than when the bulbs were first planted. So there is hope!!

oh right ok...should i have been feeding it something i thought bulbs did their own thing lol
You cut off the Hyacinth flowers when they die....But you mustn't remove the leaves as the plants get nutrients from the leaves for the following year... Then just leave them until the leaves die off and are brown and you are able to just pull them off and that's it - and mine just spring back each year..I've never fed them..Every so often I get a couple that grow back like the ones you described..

ok i will do that.....i have some primulas along the border to...i bought them last year all different colours but only the purple and yellow ones have flowered which is strange but the pink ones havent
