recently had some lovely planters made for my tiny front garden. i want to plant them up with something colourful but not sure if i've left it too late as summer is already half way through? They are fairly shallow planters (prob about 25cm deep) but long and norrow. The front garden gets plenty sunshine. adfvice anyone? thanks in advance

i was thinking about winter pansy as the ones i got early spring are as good as new, larger an still full of life, hope this is helpful to you.

I had the same problem and have put in some trailing begonias with the smaller type of flower as they dont seem to get damaged so badly by rain- they have been in about 10 days now and are really looking great - the dragon leaf variety is particularly good - added bonus is they dont need dead heading - hopefully your garden center will have some left.
