hi,i repotted some peppers a week or so ago, and the top of the compost has gone green,it looks horrid, can anyone tell me why this is so,and is it a problem for the plant,if so what can i do about it..thanks...
Hi. Green on top is usually a sign of overwatering - could this be the case? Shouldn't be a problem for the plant though - like you say it just doesn't look too nice...
I always leave it as it appears to do no harm - if you like though, spect you could just gently scrape it off rather than use chemicals. - probably best done when the surface is dry.
