Pruning Buddleia

I have a small new Buddleia that has flowered this year just on one single stem ,should I prune it to make it have more flowers next year or is it best to leave it

Prune it back quite hard in early March. The flowers will come on the new growth and you will get more flowers. If you leave them they get leggy with fewer flowers.

The branches you cut off, just push them down into the ground and you'll have more Buddlia trees (they grow easy as weeds)
