Can Anyone Suggest Something To Remove The Cloudy Effect In A Lovely Old Vase ?

'Sick' glass can be cleaned with a mixture of ammonia in warm water. Let it stand a few days if you like. If that doesn't work then nothing will :)

If it's Georgina glass or some Victorian glass I ought to point out it might just look like that, not all old glass is crystal clear.

Try either a strong bleach/water mix or Steradent tablets

I use sterilizing solution to clean my vases and thermos flasks.

If it is on the inside othe vase then it could be limescale, try limescale remover or citric acid or vinegar. Bleach will not remove limescale as it is alkaline,

Are you sure that the cloudiness is not IN the glass and not just on the surface? If IN the glass, nothing will improve it.
Never use chlorine bleach in glass (particularly something like your vase) - it will make things worse!
