Hi tazz, A mate of mine fits laminate flooring and does quite a lot of stairs now ,and has never had a problem, I don't think it would be in the least bit slippery, hope you get something sorted, Ray
Hi tazz, pop round to the local supplier, not B&Q orany of the big boys, see if you have a local distributor, they will be very helpful and normally employ chippies to put the laminate down, have a look at this link . Ray
Hi tazz, If you have a local supplier near you pop in and have a chat with them, they will not try and pressure sell to you, but go to an independant one as I said not B&Q or similar, they will also arrange to fit it for you, you then normally pay the fitter, it should only take at the most 1 day to do a normal staircase, Ray
Paint the stairs and apply self-adhesive vinyl tiles? Self-coloured ones, so the surface decoration won't wear off? Lots simpler than laminate. Just a thought.
hi ray, ill try an independant one if i can find one, is floors to go one? do u know. yeah tiles is worth lookin into to. like sound of wood thou would last long time
I'm one of the office staff @ wood4stairs. We have a distributor in the UK, who can also fit the product for you. If you are in an area which we don't cover we can supply you with the product only and you could get your own fitter to fit the product if you wished - If you need any other info you can contact us on 08002942315. Our product is solid timber and not laminate and we have a choice of finishes as well.
