Igrained limescale on granite drainer.

Hi, Does anyone know of a safe way of removing the build-up of ingrained limescale on a granite draining board. No matter how often I rinse and dry the drainer (such a bore!) it still builds up.
Any suggestions?

Lakeland Work Top wonder is really good on cleaning granite but it does depend on how bad it is. After use it leaves a thin invisible film that helps repel build up. It costs �7.29 for 500mls and the ref. is 7765. If you haven't a shop near you , you can buy on line.

Soak a pad (J-cloth or something like) in white vinegar, put it on the affected area, leave for a while to loosen the build-up, then see how much comes off. Or you can make a paste of bicarbonate of soda, put this on then drizzle some white vinegar on it, let it fizz then clean off. Might take a few tries but it should help. I live in an area with really hard water and use these ingredients for all sorts of things including cleaning out the kettle, which gets horrible rocks of limescale in it after a while!
