Flokati rugs

Does anyone know if a Flokati rug can be dyed?

Don't see why not, it says they are washable, don't see any reason why you can't dye them in your washing machine.

Thanks, it's what I thought but wondered if anyone had done it, I was given a large flokati rug a couple of months ago, I love it the colour it is really but as my dogs are allowed in the lounge where it is, it isn't staying the lovely cream colour that it should be, they seem to think that it has been put there solely for their benefit!
