rug doctor users?

I would like to give my carpets a clean and hear good things about the Rug Doctor, but if anyone has used it before can they tell me how big or bulky it is to get home?

I don't drive and was wondering how easy it would be to get on the bus or into a taxi?

This is how big it is. Couldn't you ask someone you know with a car to get it to your house? Seems a bit bulky for the bus!
