smelly carpet shampooer

I have a bissell carpet shampooer which is absolutely the bees knees. It is easy to use and really gets my filthy dog-defiled carpets clean again. The only trouble is that while I do clean it after use and let it dry in the air before putting it away, it is beginning to smell, I guess because some dirty water is always left inside it somewhere. has anyone else had this problem and found a solution to it please?
TIA

I squirt a bit of Neutradol in my old Vax and it seems O.K. though border terriers maybe dont get quite as filthy as your
great beasts. Know what to change to when our shampooer dies.

Hello all. I've got me waders on. It's never stopped raining forever here. Sorry I've not been on for a fww days. Had things to do and a friend I'm very concerned about. She has been keeping everything to herself except for her sons. because she didn't want to worry us and we are having lunch with her tomorrow instead of Tuesday as usual because her biopsy under anasthetic is on Tuesday.
I'm also sorry if I don't answer all your topics individually as I try to do. I have read them all and hope that all is well with your familys and their health problems are improving. I now just have to listen to the music links you put on the old thread.
Also hope your birthday was a good day for you Lottie.
Sorry again. See yer later 'gater(s) Hope tomorrow is a bit dryer for you. and enjoy your holiday here Neti whatever the weather.
I'll just traipse in and put a bit more mud over your carpets Woofy :)
I'm going to watch Vera so pip pip for now .

Jude on another forum I post on, they have a "bus" thread. Its like this one, friendly personal chat. the "bus" concept is so that while people can (and do) read back to see what they have missed, no one gets upset and feels left out if they don't....you hop on and off the bus as you can...What i am saying is that by me individual responses and not missing a thing that I have said are unimportant...I just know that you are all there :-)
I will keep your friend in my prayers.
It was supposed to be a quiet dry night tonight but i don't see much evidence here....
I have fuinally realised that the dogs want me to sit in the MIDDLE of the settee so i can have one each side. I twigged this tonight and moved up, they rolled their eyes and went "finally settled down and went to sleep
ah, rediscovered this thread at last in the Soft Furnishings section - yes, Jude, you certainly don't have to reply to all my witterings; it's just nice to say hello and wave to you when you pop in. Especially as your life seems busier than everyone else's put together!

Best of luck to your friend and her biopsy.
Thanks All for missing me and also to Woofy for your prayers for my friend. and Jno here's a wave back thanks. See you soon and thanks again all for being there. XXXXXX

Time for bed. The local forecast is for 20+ mph winds with 40+gusts tomorrow morning so we won't be going far tomorrow either...oight oight all
Vera was good .Hope all goes well for your friend Jude .I didn't see you there when I posted .Didn't scroll down in my haste to flop onto the settee..
You don't have to worry about replying to my witterings either . I can witter on for England ..nobody listens :-)
Not more gusts of wind purleeese .I'm going to have to find some earplugs up if last nights roaring wind and lashing rain was anything to go by .
Goodnight all sleep toight .
Morning everyone from sunny SE England! Today is the first day of seriously looking for a dress and also an eveningish one for the evening party! A having seriously good fun here. Went to an over 50,s exhibition yesterday (before the family arrived for dinner) and I thought it was memories, nah, it was trying to get us into retirement homes, life policies, etc, so I whizzed along, had my face made with some powder and new eyebrow stuff (which I ended up buying at 40 squid!) then had a free hearing test which has proved that I have been lying to myself all along and I have perfect hearing! Chatted up a couple of men, had a coffee with ill sister who was also having a hoot, and we came home to champagne and dinner and lorra lorra laughs!
Good Morning Biddyfriends. Lovely sunny morning but for how long.... It's rather windy though.
Good for you Neti - enjoy yourself.
I'm out for lunch with my 2 friends like I said and then school this afternoon.
Thanks Shaney. I understand. I do like to keep up with everything though and read it all. I listened to the music links last night and I like The Best is yet to Come the most...but that is me in my romantic mood.

Have a good day Everybiddy.....laters 'gater(s)

morning all. Breezy here but dry and sunny. Neti it must have been splurge on your face day yesterday...I ordered some very expensive face cream (loccitane) because I am fed up with getting sore dry bits.
☼...Good morning each and everybiddy..
It finally calmed down last night about 10, and yes, the sun is shining and the streets and houses look so clean. It's fetched a lot of blossom off and I don't know if the mower man will come with it being so wet.

I really enjoyed Vera last night, it was a good one...made better by the fact I'd guessed the murderer as soon as I saw them. (I won't spoil it for neti or anyone who's not seen it yet).

neti I've found you a wedding outfit to go with your newly powdered face

I don't know how neti will get that hat on, Robinia, all the cranes have blown over in the gales. Well, it does look nice today, but I asked the shepherd and he said

When sun out of blue sky doth shine
Monsoon'll be coming down the line.
Question Author
