Stained urine toilet seat (sorry)!!
Im a little embarrassed asking this question but we have recently moved into a new property which was not left in the best state (cleanliness) as I would have left it. Anyway does anyone know what I can use to remove or get rid of the urine staining that is on the under rim of the toilet seat - its not as bad as some may think but I just dont want to see it at all - our new bathroom arrives in a few weeks but Ive tried bleach, mould and mildew spray, etc .... any advice!

Something that occurred to me this morning. As a last resort before replacing. If a metal cleaner such as Brasso can scratch off tarnish, and even "remove" CD scratches, just maybe it would be the right coarseness for "sanding off" the stain. If it is a plastic/resin seat I can't see how the stain is likely to have penetrated too deeply.
Its not as bad as you all think you know ---- its petty me. I just get embarrassed if I have visitors (more the males) and they have to lift the seat to pee. They probably wouldnt notice but with being the "cleaner" of the house some things stick out a mile to what others would notice.
I will try the Cillit Bang, Flash Bleach and Limescale remover -- see how I get on.
Thanks everyone

I had this problem on our toilet seat and as the seat is Sottini and soft closing purchasing a new one in excess of £100 was not an option.
I tried everything on it to no avail eventually being in th motor trade I used a car polishing compound (ferecla G3) which was still hard work but took it all off and kept the surface nice also. To finish off I polished the plastic with a good quality car polish. Hopefully this will go some way to protecting the surface from future staining!
I would think T Cut would also work and is readily available in Halfords in a small bottle where the product I used is more expensive and only available in a large bottle although it is also good for polishing stained upvc windows etc
