We are in the process of buying a property and there is ashared driveway between our neighbours and ourselves, on the pavement but right between the driveway is a telegraph pole - its makes things a little awkward for parking, can we request they move it to a more convenient place? and would it cost?

I have a telegraph pole ,a lamp post and a letter box right outside my drive ..the telegraph pole being right on the grass verge outside my property. Telegraph poles cannot be moved.Even if they did agree it would cost mega money.
Believe me ...I have asked about it !! My son moans all the time about getting his car on the drive but he always manages !
I think if they are actually within your boundaries BT have to pay wayleave or something .
Not too sure on the ins and outs of that one but a swift Google should give you the info.
