Should there be a return to high rise flats?. I had a relative who lived in one for many years and enjoyed her stay. They use up far less space and very cost effective especially as land is a finite resource. The security problems can be easily overcome.

Depending on where it is etc, but what u have to remember is a high rise flat above 5/6 floor is practically "un mortgageable" So it limits your buyers considerably. But if you bag a cash/investment buyer im sure you ill get quite a good return on it.

They not necessarily be privately owned flats. The government has many workers who require cheaper accommodation close to where they work.
