is it a big job to re-cover a headboard. The one I want to re-cover has fabric coloured tacks pushed into it to give it a valley and hills look

Its not a big job, no.

Need the fabric, an upholstery stapler, some foam and the 'buttons'. You can buy the button/tack things that you can cover as well so that they match the fabric of the headboard.

where would I get the buttons that you cover with cloth Sammy and how does the cloth attach to the buttons
