What are they made of yele? If fabric, a large bath sponge well squeezed out with a weak dilution of washing machine liquid.

Hi .... no they are not fabric they are white aluminium
Sorry yele,
yes, use a bath sponge well squeezed out with some Flash clean & shine all purpose cleaner diluted in water .. in fact any of those liquid all purpose cleaners would do!

Thanks Quassia I'll have ago tomorrow!
When mine get grubby I wash them in the bath. Put an old bath towel in first to protect the bottom of the bath. Run a few inches of hot water with a bit of washing up liquid or shampoo. Dunk them in and let them soak for 10 mins or so to soak off any grime. Wipe along the slats with a cloth then rinse off with the shower. I stand mine end on in the basin for a few mins to drain then hang on the line to dry. I usually have 4 or 5 to do and it works for me. I dust them in between times with the small brush attatchment on the hoover.
Same as ratty, they come clean in the bath.
Yele - be carefull from my experience, aluminium blind elements get bent very easily and you can never make them look right afterwards

OK Tony......I'll wipe them with a damp cloth and some multi purpose cleaner....while they are in place!
Definitely wash them carefully in the bath, best way - I always do, and hang on line to dry. They come up sparkling clean.
James - do you not see them going like sails in the wind - do you dry aluminium ones that way?
Yes, hang them over the line, and fix in place securely. The weight of them will keep them there - never had a problem with my bathroom blind yet.
