To decorate the main bedroom of a bog standard, bay windowed, terrace house.
Currently the walls and woodwork are cream and will be painted white. Prep work to the woodwork has already been done. The ceiling is not being painted...
This is a rented room.
Can anyone have a guess?
I'm just very curious after a phone call I just received...
Hi, if you are not painting the ceiling and it is already painted white then the chances are that it will look more of a cream or yellow after doing the walls.
Sounds good... got to be at least a couple of days work not unreasonable at all on that basis....friend was quoted £1300 for a one bedroom flat not including kitchen and bathroom just for emulsion and a coat of gloss...
had my whole house painted a couple of years back, rooms worked out to about £150 each including walls, all woodwork and ceiling, all prep work and materials and paint.
But it wouldn't even take that long, craft. It sounds the same as my lounge (Victorian terraced) and I painted that in one night!
Some people don't care whether it's family or not, just out to make a quick buck. i had the same with my uncle. Totally ripped me off for a bit of fencing! If I can, I always do it myself.
