Hot and Cold fill to Cold fill only

Hi, new washing machine coming tomorrow. the old one was a hot and cold fill and the new one is cold fill only, will I need to do anything with the old hot pipe before I can use the machine?

Desperate to get some washing done!!

Absolutely does thanks 2 short!

Just wasn't sure if the little tap thing would be put under pressure and be inclined to leak or burst open. Maybe that sounds a bit mad!

Old machine removed and outside waiting to be taken away.

lol Al!! - as long as it washes stuff I wont be caring too much :o)
I had washing machine installed a couple of months ago. Had to get the installers back in as there was a wee leak from the hot water. It turned out the fitter had forgotten to "cap" it. No problem now.Not so keen on the cold water only fill as we've always plenty of hot water!-apparently it saves energy!?
