Can anyone recommend a very strong glue, the door on my daughters wardrobe feel off the other day, the little plastic plugs that the screws go into seem to have come away from the carcass pulling the door away. I need a strong glue to put them back, the door is quite heavy. Many thanks.
Has the hole in the carcass enlarged over time ? Just wondered if the solution would be to plug the hole with a wood filler or something, and redrill what is needed for the plug again.
Thanks or the quick replies, yes OG the hole us slightly bigger where the weight of the door pulled the plugs out. If I use the next size up plugs wil the screws on the hinges stil fit. Thanks again RR.
I would get some dowel bigger than the plug, drill a hole the same size as the dowel where the plugs were, glue in the dowel, then drill the dowel the same size as the plugs, then fit the original plugs. Hope that makes sense.
Been thinking about that ginge. I'm wondering if I am recalling the unused pre-mix stuff that died out. You may be right about it after all. Just not sure any more.
