he is "ok". although the lump was pea sized, the wound is about 10-15 cm because they took a wide excision to try and get clear margins. We will hear in about 4 days what grade of tumour it is and whether it's likely to have spread. In the meantime, marmite is feeling very sorry for himself. He is wearing a flowerpot collar to stop him from interfereing with the stitches, plus a sock to stop him scratching them, plus a t-shirt to protect them as well as a dressing. He is limpy and not really himself still (it was on his shoulder type area at the top of his leg). good news is he dosen't seem to e in much pain.
And as a reply, how is the s-i-l?

Ah Bednobs thank goodness I was getting so worried about you and your dear dog. Fingers crossed he will be alright. I just hate it when they are not well or develop these lumps. And thankyou so much for remembering my s-i-l. He is doing well now and his shoulder and arm are going back nicely now with his physo. Thank goodness no more pain. So hopefully we can all enjoy christmas. Anyway Merry Christmas to you both. Please keep in touch on how you are doing. Brenda xx
