I hate ironing and I'm seriously thinking of contacting one of those 'We do your ironing' companies.
Have you ever used them or know someone who has, and are they expensive?
You might find it cheaper giving your clothes to somebody local ie someone needing a bit of extra cash. They usually advertise in the local PO or newsagent's.
Folk do 2sp - my mother is one; everything has to be pressed. If she is watching tv, her hands have to be occuppied, ironing, tapestries, knitting - not that she can remember doing it or the programmes on the goggle-box.
Wish I could do that 2shortplanks but I'm one of those that irons everything.
I've tried not ironing certain things especially the ones that are 'non iron' but I always end up ironing them!
Might look in the local paper but I've never seen it advertised before.
I bought one of those big steam generator jobbies and although I don't exactly enjoy ironing now, it's certainly made it more bearable.
There's an ad in my local newsagents, a lady offering to come to your house and do it for you. (Well, not YOUR house, MP, as she doesn't know where you live). :o)
I bought one of those steam generators too but I hate it even more with all the steam I get too warm.
Craft, perhaps I should get a cleaner as I hate housework too :-)
Go for it MissPrim.................2 hours a week and the house is cleaned through and all the ironing done.
Ahem I also have a gardener.................
Being a bloke I hate ironing....but I have said to myself this bank holiday weekend, im going to iron all my work shirts in one go!(Ive got about 15 or so) - normally I wash them, and then wear a jumper over the top - but if the weather is getting warmer, needs must
Probably will end up doing 1 or 2, then seeing whats on the telly though....
