Now that my hydrangea shrub has grown it's new leaves, why are they turning brown at the ends?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Almost all varieties of Hydrangea can be fussy.. have you over fertilized or has it received fertilizer from the lawn? have you watered well or, conversley, has it been raining a lot? is the soil compacted around the plant? . Is it through flowering? If so, you can prune it back slightly and this sometimes helps... usually it's best to just wait out.. Best of luck though...
