Musty smell

I just scored a bag of lace at a market recently for free. However when I opened the plastic bag it stank!! I've tried soaking it in Bi-carb soda - didn't work, lemon juice - didn't work - So has anyone got any ideas on how to get this old Musty smell from these wonderful pieces of lace????
