I have stored some items in a spare room in my house for 2 years and looking at them recently I have noticed some of the items have a musty smell. (the room is a little damp)

Can anyone suggest how I can get rid of the bad smell? They are all baby items i.e. car seat, moses basket, matress, so I can't use any chemicals that would be harmful to the baby on them. Would airing them be sufficient?  any  tips????

My Baby is due end of October

Thanks

i would wait till the next hot sunny day (whenever that may be!)and put them out in the garden.Give everything a good brush over or a sponge over with a damp cloth well wrung out in soapy water and then let them dry in the sun.Try a dehumidifier in the room.
