Carpet stains
7 Answers
Anyone got any seriously effective ways of getting rid of stains on a carpet? I've tried the usual shop products like Vanish, but they won't do the job. The stains I'm dealing with at present I originally thought were blood from my dog's paw - they're the right colour red - but they just won't wash (though they do smudge a little) so no idea what they are.

Blood stains can take a lot of rubbing and scrubbing to shift them. I dropped some beetroot on a mottled beige carpet and had a similar experience. A bit risky perhaps, but whilst scrubbing at the stain I added a small amount of liquid wax shoe cream (similar colour to the carpet). Maybe just my luck but it has done a pretty good disquise job.
As per my concern you can use natural home cleaning and eco friendly products because it is the best cleaners to clean carpet stains, it is more effective to use without giving any harmful effects, I generally used white vinegar and baking soda with water to clean carpet stains. If you have blood stain so the best option using shaving cream allow it spray on the carpet, wash clean with dab and clean with damp cloth.
