"can anyone help"

No, clean your own toilet :)

or seriously... rubber gloves and a scoring pad.
I assume you have tried a loo brush, bleach, caustic soda. Maybe one of the natural cleaners such as vinegar or lemon will do it. In fact i remember someone recommending cheap Cola- it worked well and was cheaper than toilet cleaning products.
I bought some Parazone Cubes from the 99p shop. Had to use for longer than suggested, but got rid of all the limescale.

If all else fails, Spirits of Salts will shift anything.
The other way is to hide the stains by adding something to the water to colour it blue
Empty the water out, spray with a decent cleaner, leave to soak...and then get scrubbing.
How about pouring some neat Jeyes fluid in there and leaving it over night.
Rubber gloves and scourer to remove the worst of the stains first.
leave limescale remover in the bowl for an hour or two and stains will disappear, mine do. (sprinkle all round the bowl just above water level )
Put a cup of biological wash powder down it and leave overnight.
yep, eyes fluid shifts most things.

even the whiff of goats
Oi, pack it in hippy chick.
We used Harpic Power Plus On Mum`s loo when she stopped flushing and cleaning....took a while but worked very well. Emptied water from toilet when daughter moved to scruffy house and scrubbed and bleached.
Can't say I tend to find the toilet a problem. Worst comes to worst and you have limescale to remove which disolves in a weak acid or can be scraped. I tend to wonder what one is to do with that brush next to it.

Mant thanks to you all, have a few here to try, Ta.
Jeyes fluid will, of course, stain the loo even worse
Use a strongly acid cleaner first (look for hydrochloric or phosphoric acid on the label), leave overnight, flush. Then, a small amount of a chlorine bleach to finish the job.
Ignore the one that says empty the water out, it acts as a plug and stops the pong coming up from the sewer.
Remember the avacado green bathroom suites? They hid a multitude of stains.
a bottle of cheap cola left over night can remove a lot of nasties from under the water line (cost abut 20p)
Cola?

I must have a pristine clean stomach lining then.
Definitely cola. This forum suggested teabags work even better

Ignore me Baldric! How dare you! :-)
Only emptied water temporarily to chip off limescale..no pong and a clean loo.
