According to "The Lawn Expert" (by Dr. D.G. Hessayon), the best time for sowing seed is mid-August to mid-September. The next best time is April.
The best time for laying turf is October to February, with the next best time being March to April.
yep, you can do it but it'll be slow germinating and erratic too. Im about to sow a large area at work....it will come up, especially if the weather's mild, but it'll be slow.
I need to re-seed part of my lawn. Which Brand of seed do you use hammerman?
