The hinge has come off on a kitchen cupboard door, but due to the position of it,it is impossible to use a screw drive(obviously the hinge was fitted before assembling ),perhaps a flexible screwdriver, which I don`t have will fix it.However,it will be possible to fit ordinary hinges to it...would that work, as nowadays they seem to put these "funny"shaped ones.

Difficult to explain Kloofers, but the funny shaped ones allow the door to cover the edge of the cabinet. Standard butt hinges would show the pin of the hinge, and the door would be in the wrong place.
That's a clear as mud isn't it?
:o(((((

In short, more trouble than it's worth. Surely you just need a "stubby" screwdriver? ie a very short one. When desperate, I usually shorten one with a hacksaw.
I'm going to get some of those ........... thanks Vulcan
