Colour For Small Bedroom

what is a good colour to paint a small bedroom with?

What colour is the carpet/flooring/curtains? Does the room get a lot of daylight or is it quite dark?

Depends on what sort of colours you like. I wouldn't do it in too dark or too bright a colour. That will make the room look smaller.

I have just painted mine 3 walls white and 4th wall papered white with silver/grey it looks lovely.

I would normally say paint it a light colour. But in my daughters small bedroom she has one wall that is a deep magenta and the rest of the walls are painted in a neutral colour. It looks very nice and I wouldn't say the room looks any smaller because of the strong colour.

Aren't cool colours supposed to appear to recede and make a room look larger ?

i've got cream walls and in the winter have burgandy curtains and summer red curtains beige carpet
