Hi guy's the time has come to replace the boiler I would like a combi and my water pressure at any time of the day is 25 liters a min which I think is quite good?? I have a two bedroom terrace house and I was recommended a Worcester
Greenstar 30Si I also only have 6 radiators....
I also live in a two bed terrace. We have 8 radiators. In March 2012 we had a Worcester Greenstar 28i installed. We have noticed the difference in having a new and more efficient boiler. (The old one was a Worcester also & discontinued in 1998 so it had had its day)
Also our bills have remained the same despite fuel costs rising and having the heating on for longer due to the delayed start to summer!
TheBuilder - ever come across Viessmann? German made, had one fitted recently. it's excellent but not cheap (fitted by the RGI who I've known since he was little and was my best man so wouldn't sell me a pup!)
......... about the power rating. They are usually available in sizes to suit the property. No problem in having one a little bigger than you need. It doesn't have to work so hard ;o)
Thank you for the reply's just wanted to make sure I wasn't wasting my money....I guess I'll look into the Veissmann boilers and if it's a no go then at least I know the for mentioned boiler is a good on to go for : )
I went for the Veissmann because it was
A) recomended buy someone i trust, B)decent warranty/guarantee ,C)german engineering...slighty dearer than most but worth it.
