I bought it last year. The flowers fell off, as they do, then it looked dead so I ignored it. Noticed some buds earlier this year so started taking care of it again. It grew 4 flowers which lasted a few months. When they died off I cut it back a bit. Now I have another flower, 3 about to bloom, and 7 buds.
I was going to repot is as the roots look really cramped but it seems to be thriving.
I'd repot it anyway whilst it isn't in flower. They can be a pain to look after but when you get the conditions right they are such nice plants to admire. It's a white flowering one isn't it? I can't remember that well, I'd had a few too many wines lol. Sun light might be a bit of a problem because of where abouts you live. Repot and make sure you don't over water it. I've had similar issues with orchids before where they didn't bloom at all. Water with a bit of decarbonated lemonade if you had any.
The front gets the sun most of the day but I tend to move my plants about so I'm not sure what position it prefers. Either way...it's liking something.
Looks similar to orchidaceae dendrobium, but then again there are a huge genus of orchids. I've got a Diploma in Horticulture but not even I can identify everything lol. Keep trying different things?
