Gas And Electric Suppliers

Any recommendations as to which supplier to change to, (if any) We are with Scottish Power ATM but their price hike seems very high,altho' I suppose they will be much of a muchness. Drives me mad doing the comparison sites so I thought I'd ask for advice here, and hopefully will get some -:0) -rosy

Are you looking for dual fuel suppliers, rosy?

We've never gone for that - we've stayed with British Gas and EDF for the separate strands of fuel. They all seem as complicated at each other, we seem to be on reasonable deals compared with some of the others.

We are on duel fuel ATM boxtops, could go separate I suppose, just seems easier having both together, don't know why.

Personally I'd rather have gas from gas people, electricity from electricity, and so on - I seem to get a better deal from time to time than buying both from one company. Means they can't hold you to ransom on one with the other, too.

I know you said you didn't want to use the comparison sites but the U Switch one is super easy and took me about 3-5mins to complete. I found a cheaper deal and switched.
