Plagued By Tiny Flies.

I am being plagued by tiny flies,they all seem to be joined in pairs,all outside up to now,but all over windows.Tried fly-killer but still they return the next morning. Any help appreciated.

Is there something dead in your vicinity? You can kill one lot, the next lot hatch the following day..... or they might be fruit flies, they're tiny, and they love rotting fruit and veg, my compost bin is full of them.

I've been outside to check,boxtops,nothing obvious,if they are fruit flies do they eventually die off,lived here 22 years and never had this problem before.

Good news is if its fruit flies they do die off, just hope they don’t reproduce!!

I think the 'joined in pairs' statement indicates that they may well be reproducing!

Still there today,used 2 tins of fly-killer,will see what tomorrow brings.Thank You for your replies.
