Gas Boiler

I have recently had my gas boiler serviced by a "gas safe" company, should I have been given a certificate or is the receipt enough ?

The strange situation is that there is no legal obligation to provide a certificate. You would think there would be wouldn't you?

You have to ask the guy when he does the inspection. He may well have to charge you for doing the paperwork though. A decent Company would certainly oblige.
