Any suggestions what annuals I could plant in a garden that is underneath a wall edged by grass then pavement then busy road, also party below overhanging bushes. Gets full sun until late morning. There are a few aquilegias and some ' white bells ' (I think) already there. Don't really want Heathers any help greatly appreciated.
I think, what I would do in a similar situation is buy a packet or two of mixed annuals (cheap and cheerful), scatter them on the prepaired ground, rake them in and it will be interesting to see what come up.
I like to mix the seeds with a little sharp sand in a bucket, to act as a carrier.
Something like : Unwins Natures Haven, Biodiversity mix, should do well.
