How many other people out there are facing increased monthly direct debit payments with npower, despite the fact their account is in credit? How many people have questioned the increase and have met with a hostile call centre?

I am with powergen and had a letter telling me that they would increase my debit payments to more than I would be willing to pay,I phoned them telling that I will not pay thier estimated amount and I would be cancelling my debit account and they could bill by taking readings of my meter whenever they send thier meter reader.

They re-assested thier estimated downwards.

Dont forget you can always switch to another supplier.
