From where I sit on the sofa I have an untroubled easy view......of the houses at the other side of the cul de sac. Gazing in the other direction towards the garden, the kitchen window is about 2 bricks too high to see out from when seated.
If the builder had exercised a little thought I could enjoy gawping at the garden when I'm on AB, instead of at the neighbours' white vans.

Get the builder back, sit him/her on your sofa, point their head in the direction of the garden... and give them an EARFUL!!!

Ah - yes - well you see, 'twas built in 1949.....so probably out of guarantee. But I'm thinking of having the back window replaced at that level.
