Removing A Door.

Before I resort to the saws is there a clever way that I don't know of to remove a long in place door?
I have scraped the paint off the screws but they look really worn....none of my screw drivers want to grip....

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.These hinges don't appear to have a centre pin.....I will remove some of the many paint layers to check.....but they don't look like the ones where the pins work out and surprises you....

Fibionacci.....thank you....I can try those tricks too....the screws are different types but something will work.....that's a good site...x
Failing all that I will open a bottle and fetch the crow bar.....☺

Whoooo! Door is off! Thank you all for your advice....I used all the tips bar just one of Fabonacci's....well I drilled but not where told to......
The screws were all different, MrB......I guess the door's been off for new flooring in the past and put on badly.
The most difficult was the last bit....the door's in an awkward place...well it was....and I needed someone to hold the door up off the floor to keep the screw centre of the hinge.....but....
I found Felicity Forster's book on Soup making perfect.....☺
And aren't chisels interesting tools......
