If it rains and your washing on the line gets wet do you wash it over again or do you just let it dry as it is?

Just in case of......what? The only hang up I can see is the washing being wetter than when you put it out and will consequently take longer to dry.

I rewash ellie, I think it develops a certain smell.
nooo....nice clean rain here though !
I give it another rinse and spin. I don't wash it again.

Hate the bother of washing it again as it's nearly dry now but don't like the idea of it smelling!
Same as Tilly
we are in the country so if it rains I just leave it to dry on the line or dry it on a line in the laundry room - Its smells so fresh when its had rain on it.
elliemay -what does your rain smell of?
Can't imagine why anyone would rewash their washing simply because it got wet. Can't have lived long in the UK to have got used to the weather !
56 years OG .. I've always rehashed it if it's been rained on.

Though these days if the weather's a bit suspects t, it goes in the dryer.

Rewash???? You have to be kidding me!

My tumble drier is the biggest waste of space and money I have in the house, it never gets used, perhaps I should put it on freegle and make some extra space for another wine rack
I'm with Ecclescake.
It only gets an extra rinse on the line with soft rain water - my mother used to collect rain water to wash her hair in.
Eccles, I have a wine rack but the bottles I buy don't stay unopened long enough to visit it!
I just leave it to dry .We live by the sea though, with the nice sea air .
When I lived in dirty old London though I used to wash it again.
Are you joking? ! I live in Ireland, running to the washing line is our national sport! !lol
I love it when it rains on my washing...I like my clothes to smell clean and fresh and that means without the overpowering chemical smells of most washing powders and fabric conditioners.. I can smell what products people use on their washing as they walk past.. i prefer the perfume I chose to wear not some stuff used to try to get the gullible to buy their powder etc.

Thank you all for your answers. I decided to put it on a short rinse just in case!

I take it in and spin it if it is really wet; then hang it on the clothes horse. I love the smell of line dried washing and sniff every single item as I take it off the line - sad (but happy!).
