Oil
12 Answers
I have my oil in something like 20 years however boiler has been changed 3 or 4 times so it is running well.
However my hearing allows me to hear dull, drummy sounds, and this past while back in fact a way good back I am hearing the dully sounds. I even hear them when I am in bathroom as pipe runs outside the wall. When I turn the oil off - the sounds go away.
A little bit annoying if I may say so - so my plumber nephew will be up sometime in a few weeks can I ask him a stupid question in that the noise be turned down. Thanks

There are 13 houses in my cul-de-sac and 10 have all changed to gas. I have no intention of changing as I am very happy with the oil and now the price of it now I may get a top up - £260 for 9 litres compared with I think I paid in £500 in May.
