Can anyone out there offer any advice what we can use on our front driveway to get rid of the green moss, which seems to have taken hold after this very wet spell. Normally we use a mixture of disinfectant and water, but as it's such a large area, wondered if there is something else?? Hope you can help, many thanks, best wishes, Chox.
I am almost sure 'beer line cleaner' that pubs use is virtually the same thing as Dairy Hyochlorite. It is a strong bleach combined with a detergent cleaning agent. I know from personal experience it clears mould and yeast residue from beer pipes like magic. Pubs also use it to clean the concrete cellar floors from sticky spilt beer residue ,mould and mildew as well. Sold in 5 litre containers available from all brewery/ pub/ restaurant supply places and home brew shops.
Many thanks to everyone for all their suggestions, your help is much appreciated. Will give the DHC suggestion a try I think. That's fab. Best wishes, Chox.
Just remember that if you then get bleach on your shoes and then walk into the house you may end up with bleached foot prints on your carpet, be very careful, it is also harmful to pets feet! And if it gets into the waterway you will get in very big trouble!
