How Do I Get Tannin Stains Out Of Mugs

I have really huge tannin stains on my favourite mugs and I was wondering how I can get them out?

I use Domestos, but make sure they are well rinsed afterwards.

Sprinkle salt in wet mug and use one of these...

Steradent tablets (or other denture tablets)
IMHO, if you use brillo pads, that'll scratch the inside and will be nigh on impossible to clean in future

I use washing soda crystals in the mug, dissolve with hot water, let stand then wash as normal & they come up clean. They're also good for lots of other things.

Did mine this morning. Solution of bleach and cold water, leave for 15 mins or so, then I put mine through the dishwasher on a fast wash, just to be sure all trace of bleach has gone, came up lovely.

bicarbonate is brilliant, so is bleach and so is cleaning them after every use and not leaving them lying around ya lazy......
