Mosaic Topped Table

I have a mosaic topped garden table that I want to protect and cover for the winter now
What's the best way to do that?

I was thinking of spraying with wd40 before covering to protect against rust but wondered if there was any reason not to spray the top

use a pvc tablecloth, there are lots on amazon for example. this one I've assumed your table is round (as mine is)

Why not just a garden table cover?

keep the metal bits painted.

I wonder if you wrapped the whole thing in bubble wrap, then the normal garden covers you can buy.
