If it's say the washing machine I'll check it out myself for brushes/heating element etc, anything smaller, toaster, kettle type of thing, if it's not the fuse it goes in the bin, cheap enough to replace.

Yes I know ,hc,still under manufactors warranty ,
TWR,it was a ceramic hob.
