I have an electric shower and the water seems slow it's a new shower head, not the original make, could it be the shower head itself slowing the water or the actual water pressure.

Not likely to be the water pressure. Electric showers do restrict the pressure to give the heating element time to heat the water.

I can only think that the head has a smaller flow-rate.
