Hey, i have three areas of grass the size of dinner plates that have been burnt by my ***'s urine. Does any one have any good tips to restore them? I've done a little googleing and the best option i've found is to pour beer onto the area. Other than that it seems you do have to spend quite a lot to buy a spray that actually works at restoring the grass.

Hey, the lawn burn is caused by concentrated levels of nitrogen in dogs urine and the easiest way to prevent the lawn burn, is to water the spot after the dog has urinated to water down the nitrogen. The watered down nitrogen will actually act as a great nutrient to improve overall grass growth. You should usually see that the grass around the burn is growing well and this is due to the nitrogen leaching through the ground.

Without using a product to fix the lawn burn, the only way to do it is to thoroughly water the area over a couple of weeks and then reseed, hope this helps!
